A Lanzarote Provincial hearing has sentenced a man named only as Francisco R.F to three years in prison and a fine of 2,000 euros after he was found guilty of a crime against public health for selling cocaine and cannabis from his in his commercial premises Supermercado Maria in Valterra, Arrecife.
The man was arrested on July 28th of last year, accused of distributing narcotic substances from the establishment he owned in Arrecife.
He was arrested inside the premises in posession of 331 grams of hashish, 6 grams of cocaine and three cases of anabolic steroids, 950 euros in cash, four precision scales, nine mobile phones and two knives wich had traces of hashish on the blades.
Some of the drugs were hidden in candy boxes.
The investigation started after police were tipped off that an individual was distributing narcotics from the supermarket on calle Paz Peraza, Arrecife.
