On Wednesday in San Bartolomé firefighters were called to retrieve a Gazebo which had been blown up into overhead cables.
Later firefighters attended after an emegency call involving a street lamp which had become dislodged from its mounting on Calle Sorondongo de San Francisco Javier, in Arrecife. The street lamp fell and hit a vehicle that was driving along the road.
In Titerroy, a traffic light fell against the wall of a building but the occupant was unharmed. Firemen disconnected the light from the mains.
Throughout the afternoon, various incidents required emergency services to attend but there were no reports of serious injuries.
